Princess Luna sighed. Perhaps the sphere she was imprisoned in was an odd choice for a brooding place, but for some odd reason, the pale grounds seemed oddly comforting at the moment. She took a few deep breaths and thought deeply to herself. That sister of hers could be so stubborn when she wanted to be! At least this fight led to her going to the moon of her own accord...
She took another step forward, and gasped. The moon... it was crying out in pain. Someone was stealing it's power to use for themselves. She focused, trying to find out where this power siphon was coming from... there, on a far away planet! The Princess of the night spread her wings, and took flight, shooting toward the other world at an incredible pace.

Saix wiped the blood off of his claymore. The blonde man with the blue blade had certainly put up a fight... but luckily, he couldn't handle Saix's berserk mode had aided him in cleaving the man in two.
Saix felt an odd energy coming off of the blade. He approached it...
"YOU! BEAST, HALT!"
...the younger princess of Equestria landed with a loud entry, her voice and her landing making the trees wave in the artificial wind.
"OUR MOON IS CRYING OUT IN PAIN! BY ROYAL DECREE, THOU SHALL STOP AT ONCE!"
Saix didn't have time for this. "...no."
"...VERY WELL. THEN WE WILL USE FORCE IF WE MUST."
Saix brandished his sword. "Good luck."
HOLD OUT TILL DAWN!

Saix wasted no time, giving out a powerful war cry and charged forward, hoping to decapitate the horse princess and end the fight there. Luna's eyes widened, she was not expecting a move this bold! With little time to spare, she teleported several yards away, yet Saix kept charging. With some magic, she conjured a sword made of lunar energy, and blocked his strike. But Saix kept swinging, giving the Night princess no breathing room. With one more fatal strike, he shattered the princess's blade...

But the princess had teleported behind him, shooting him with a powerful concussive beam of magic, knocking him backward. Saix growled. He felt his rage building...

Luna fired another concussive beam, but Saix blocked it with his large blade, so Luna decided to go on the offensive, picking up the large blue blade from the fallen holy knight on the floor. She dashed forward, and struck horizontally, Saix once again blocking.
"A WORTHY FOE, YET YOUR HEART... IT IS A VOID, AS BLACK AS THE NIGHT."
"I have no heart." Saix responded, overpowerig Luna, and delivering a powerful punch to her mouth, sending her flying backwards into a tree. "I will take yours."

"I cannot hold out for much longer..." Luna thought, barely teleporting away from her position as Saix tried to cut her in two, his strike cutting down the tree she had struck.
"Let us back in, princess."
No, it couldn't be... the nightmare had long been exorcized from her!
"LEAVE US, DEMON!"
Saix stopped, confused. "You were the one that attacked me."
"NO, NOT YOU."
"Oh."
The two charged at each other yet again, but Luna Faked out Saix by teleporting as soon as she reached him, reappearing behind him, and slashing his back with the large sword. She had grown quite fond of it... she would name it Lunar Caliber.

Saix growled again. "I'm going to rip you apart."
Saix Berserk Meter: 75%
He charged again. So close to feeling the sweet release of the berserk form, just a little more...
"Princess... you know it's the only way. He has harmed your beautiful moon..."
"LEAVE US, NIGHTMARE."
She blocked Saix's most recent attack, and the two were evenly matched in sword play. The fight seemed to be at a standstill... until Saix began to glow, cackling madly.
Saix Berserk Meter: 100%
"MOVE ASIDE!" Saix yelled, gaining immense strength. The blade flew from Luna's hand in an instant, lodging itself in the dirt, out of reach from her magic. This opportunity was all Saix needed. He assaulted Luna with brutal strikes of his sword, each one breaking her skin and leaving a horrific gash into her azure body. With an uppercut, Saix launched her into the air.
Bleeding heavily, Luna looked to her moon. All of its strength being siphoned into the warrior she was fighting... and losing against. It cried to her, and she could do nothing to console it.
Saix leaped into the air, and slammed Luna down into the ground... right into a tree branch, the large, sharp point of it impaling her through the middle. Luna gasped, and felt her life start to leave her...
"You are done." Saix said, as he began to walk away.
TIMER STOPPED
"Let us in, Princess."
"...We..."
Saix paused.
"Do you want to live, princess? To see your darling sister again?"
"We wish to live..."
Saix turned around to face his dying foe. Perhaps he should finish her off, instead of leaving her like this...
"Then let me in, Luna. Let the Nightmare take you."
A tear rolled down the princess's cheek. Suddenly, her body began to glow, and vanished into a purple mist. Thunder began to boom in the distance. Suddenly with a flash of light, The princess beamed down in front of the Organization member... much, much more menacing than she was before.
The Nightmare had come out to play.

"I can beat her, and I can beat you." Saix swung at her. Nightmare Moon simply vanished.
"You can try. But you won't succeed. She reappeared a few yards away, facing him. "Then, you will suffer as my moon has!"

Saix attempted to charge, but a large shot of energy, coming directly from the Moon itself, stunned him, the very thing giving him power turned against him. Nightmare Moon quickly teleported behind him, and with her magic, conjured a Mini moon, which she used to bash his head, and then launched it into his back, sending him flying. She teleported in front of him again, and with the same moon she conjured, uppercutted him into the sky.

Nightmare Moon flew up into the sky after him, grabbing him. "So, you like the Moon, hmm? Well, don't let me separate you two!" As she laughed manically, she shot into the sky, out of the atmosphere, and into the moon, slamming Saix into its surface. He didn't get back up.

Nightmare stretched her wings. "Ahh, truly lovely to be back." She set her sights back to her home planet. "Why, I think I'll pay dear sister and her elements a visit! After all..." She sped off to canterlot.
"...I hear they're working on having a fantastic nightlife!"
